DyDo Group Human Rights Policy
1.Preamble

Based on the philosophy of “Creating happiness and prosperity, together with people and with society. To achieve this goal, the DyDo Group will continue to embrace new challenges in a dynamic way”, we are committed to working with all stakeholders to ensure a healthy lifestyle, both physically and mentally, for people around the world. In line with the spirit of “Creating happiness and prosperity, together with people and with society”, cherished since DyDo Group’s foundation, we hereby establish the “DyDo Group Human Rights Policy” (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) as a fundamental guideline to realize a society where the rights of each individual are respected. This Policy is positioned as the foremost guideline for promoting respect for human rights in our corporate activities. While fulfilling the responsibility to respect human rights, we will continue to “Offer delicious products for sound mind and body”, our brand message, through various partnerships.

2.Basic Approach to Human Rights

We recognize that our corporate activities may cause or contribute to adverse human rights impacts.
We support and respect human rights as described in the “International Bill of Human Rights” and “Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work” of the International Labour Organization (ILO). Additionally, we commit to conduct corporate activities based on the “Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights” of the United Nations.

3.Scope of Application

The scope of this Policy is DyDo GROUP HOLDINGS, INC., its subsidiaries and affiliated companies. All officers and employees within these entities are considered the primary practitioners and direct beneficiaries of this Policy. Additionally, we will work to foster understanding and support for this Policy among our business partners, including suppliers, and we will collaboratively promote respect for human rights. To achieve this, we have established an internal framework with the Representative Director and President of DyDo GROUP HOLDINGS, INC. as the person responsible for human rights and we will undertake continuous initiatives.

4.Key Human Rights Issues

We identify the key issues related to human rights as follows and will conduct human rights due diligence appropriately based on this Policy. It should be noted that these key issues will be subject to periodic review considering changes in society and the business environment.

  • Prohibition of all forms of discrimination and harassment
  • Prohibition of child labor and forced labor
  • Protection of the rights of foreign workers
  • Payment of fair wages and management of working hours
  • Establishment of a safe and comfortable work environment and support for health maintenance and improvement
5.Implementation of Human Rights Due Diligence

Following the procedures in the “Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights” of the United Nations, we will establish a mechanism for human rights due diligence to identify and assess adverse human rights impacts. We will then address the prevention or mitigation of these impacts.

6.Correction and Remediation

If it becomes evident that we have caused or contributed to any adverse human rights impacts, we will work to correct and remedy such impacts through appropriate means.

7.Education and Awareness Activities

We will conduct appropriate education and awareness activities for our officers and employees to ensure and enhance the effectiveness of this Policy. Furthermore, we will share this Policy with our business partners to promote understanding and permeation of this Policy.

8.Information Disclosure

To fulfill our obligations of accountability, we will regularly disclose our efforts to respect human rights and the status of human rights due diligence, on our corporate website and other channels. We will also engage in a continuous dialogue with our stakeholders on human rights issues relevant to us, and strive to enhance and improve our commitment to the respect of human rights.

This Policy has been resolved by the Board of Directors of DyDo GROUP HOLDINGS, INC. on March 15th, 2024.

Human Rights Promotion System

In accordance with the “DyDo Group Human Rights Policy” approved by the Board of Directors, we have established an internal system with the President and Representative Director being the person in charge of respecting human rights. We engage in respecting human rights through the Group Sustainability Committee operation.
The progress of human rights policy and activities are to be reported and deliberated by the Group Sustainability Committee and the Human Rights Subcommittee, and reported to the Board of Directors if necessary.
